Individual Counselling and Therapy

We provide individual counselling and therapy for problems that may range from common to specific. You don’t need to have a mental health problem for you to seek counselling. If you are unable to deal with a problem all by yourself and are hesitant or frustrated at not being able to share your thoughts, or seek help from your friends and family, then you can come to us and seek the guidance of our counsellors and therapists.

Meaningful Health is a safe and ethical place where you get the chance to open up, explore your emotions and work towards an effective, and long-lasting change. Our counsellors and therapists are all fully qualified professionals who will treat you with respect, empathy and genuineness.

Here are just a few of the issues that we can help you resolve:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Life Transitions
  • Managing Conflict
  • Relationship issues
  • Work Stress
Practical, effective and transformative counselling and therapy at Meaningful Health

Our counsellors and therapists use an integrative framework of evidence-based methods that is uniquely tailored to your current concerns, objectives and needs. An approach that is integrative allows our practitioners to effectively combine components of different psychotherapy modalities. These include modalities such as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), etc.

Our counselling and therapy sessions will be practical, effective and transformative. We begin with a psychological assessment to help determine mental health problems, if any, and to understand what life issues are contributing to your problems.

The assessment involves gathering information to understand your history, beginning with your childhood, adolescent and adulthood experiences, past trauma, your recent life experiences, present circumstances and stressors, and your current physical and mental health. This assessment will help us come up with an effective treatment plan.

Our counsellors and therapists will guide you in exploring underlying issues through therapy and help you manage challenging situations, acquire coping skills, and find effective and long-lasting solutions for your mental health issues, conflicts and problems.
